Shavuot party took place at Belaya Tserkov Jewish Community due to the support of ACF 2U.
The event was conducted not just to remind the community members about this Holiday and its traditions but also to introduce to the community new project for children Kalaniot. This project is aimed at Jewish kids who are socially unprotected.
Guests were shown a slideshow about open orphanage, which had been launched for these children. All those who were present were offered to participate in the campaign to help these impoverished children. In the coming months, the orphanage will be visited by young Jewish community members, who would conduct interesting activities for kids. It is planned to arrange boat trips on the river, a master class on decoupage, cooking school, etc.
The highlight of the evening was the performance folk-band “Topor-Orchestra”. The audience liked it a lot.
