On November 6, 2016 in the premises of Kiev cinema hall “Kinopanorama” (Shota Rustaveli, 19) JFU and ACF “To You” (2U) conducted the memorial evening dedicated to Day of Kyiv Liberation from Nazi invasion and to the International Day Against Fascism, Racism and anti-Semitism.
Guests were congratulated with the holiday by the organizers of this event Mr. Monastryrskiy and Mrs. Goldenberg, and by the Consul of the Embassy of the State of Israel to Ukraine Mr. Polishchuk.
All speakers recollected the horrors of Kristallnacht and occupation, stressed that the lack of response from the public in Europe and Germany in 1938 resulted in the Nazis unleashed hands. All expressed hope that this will never happen again!
The performance of Sam Rubchinkiy’s Kiev Theater of Poetry and Song “It’s us, Lord …” did not leave anyone indifferent.
