Hearing Aid for IDP Boys

Hearing Aid for IDP Boys

This family with 2 boys who are hearing impaired since their birth survived the horror of bombing of Lugansk, life in basements, escape from the beloved occupied city… Relatives, friends, and even father stayed there…
Mother with boys reached Kiev on the chaise, where they were not expected. No money, no job, no housing. They did have nothing.
Stress had rather negative affect on the health of both children. They always had hearing problems, and after all horrors experienced, both Maxim (born in 1998) and Kirill (born in 2008) have become almost completely deaf. Doctors prescribed very expensive hearing aids for both ears to both boys. Yulia, the boy’s mother, could not even imagine how many years it’d take her to save money even for one unit for one ear, considering her odd income. The doctors insisted that the hearing aids are urgently needed; otherwise both boys could become completely deaf.
Yulia was lucky and managed to find a permanent job in her field in Kiev suburb. She started to save money to buy hearing aids for boys. She could not even rent a tiny apartment for her family because money was extremely needed for hearing devices.

Due to our European partners now Maxim and Kirill take the advantage of the up-to-date hearing aids produced by Siemens, which meet all requirements and medical prescriptions. When we brought the hearing aids to the family, Yulia couldn’t help crying.
Now the boys have a chance to recover and communicate in full. In addition to that the family has a modest one-room flat, as mum got the possibility to rent it for her family.
